Terms & Conditions
Acceptance
Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date issued. Upon receiving a signed quotation, a legally binding contract shall exist incorporating the terms and conditions of this quotation.
Sales orders may not be cancelled and deposits are non-refundable.
Preferred Payments
We accept Cash, Cheque or e-transfer to shaunrae@editinteriorswpg.com. Credit cards are accepted with an additional fee of 2.4% upon the total balance.
Drawings
All drawings are property of ED/IT Interiors. A deposit or agreed upon purchase price is required to obtain a copy of the drawings. Such amount will be applied to the initial deposit upon finalization of this sales order. Any changes to the design after submission for manufacturing will be an additional charge of $125/hour.
Space Preparation:
The client is responsible to ensure the space intended to be clean and free of any previous system and ready for installation, unless it is agreed that ED/IT Interiors is to provide removal, patch and paint services through a subcontractor. Any space preparation required by installer onsite will be an additional charge of $150/hour.
Delivery & Installation
Install timeline will be provided once product has entered manufacturing. Manufacturing timeline is 4-6 weeks from order date. Special order colors are an 8-12 week additional lead time. ED/IT interiors reserves the right to adjust install timeline, as delays can happen. Clients must notify ED/IT interiors within 48 hours of install if delivery and install needs to be adjusted, because we know your life happens.
Lighting & Electrical
If included in your design, ED/IT Interiors subcontracts all electrical work, as our installers are not licensed electricians. ED/IT Interiors installers will only drill for and remount outlets and switches, and install integrated cabinet LED lighting. Client may supply own electrical work, which ED/IT interiors will not be responsible for. However, we will provide specifications and directions for your electrician to work from.
Warranty & Limitations
Our product is carefully manufactured and installed with great care. We guarantee workmanship and material for 1 year from install date. One service call is included in your package, which ED/IT interiors will contact you 11 months after your install to ensure everything is maintained. It is a natural occurrence from daily use that doors and drawers will require adjustments. Our installer or designer will show you how to adjust your doors and drawers to keep the intergity of the product. A service call can be provided for this for an additional $150/hour.
