This newlywed couple was expecting their first child and knew their space needed to better in function before their new arrival came along.

Shauna had come up with this compact design to fit within the couples mudroom space which already featured built in coat closets. Painting the walls the same colour as the existing built in’s allowed for a more durable colour on the new cabinets, creating a sense of cohesiveness within the room.

This spaces features a tall cabinet for footwear, seasonal storage in the upper cabinets, bench with marble hooks and a mirror. And, of course, the all important landing zone with drawers for each member of the house, including their beloved puppy.
